With the exception of one incident a number of years ago Charles had suppressed
his abilities until a "run in" with a ghost awakened his psychic talents. Charles has the ability to speak and or communicate with human spirits and animals spirits who have departed the physical plane of existence and reside on the other side. Charles also works with unsettled or earthbound spirits who are in need of closure or are fearful of the crossing over process. Often times all a ghost needs is someone to talk to who is able to listen and understand what they are trying to communicate.
In early 2007 while providing a reading over the phone, Charles picked up the spirit of a live animal. During the call he was unaware that the animal's spirit he was bringing through belonged to a live animal. Since that first occassion he has communicated with many animals from various species.
